I wonder if they'll also include some sort of trick to upgrade Goldbrand into it's stronger version.Īlso Farming sounds something like the Windstad and Heljarchen Farm Mods that already exist. There was quests for both of these items in Morrowind. Some folks genuinely believe Mod authors should be only treated as hobbyist creators and shouldn't be monetarily compensated but I say if it's good enough to be put on as portfolio much like spec work is, then I say it's fair modders to earn for their effort. I mean the Survival Mod in itself is basically a take on Chesko's Frostfall and isoku's iNeed, two individual mods that effectively did everything the Survival Mod did long before it was even a thing. There are hundreds if not a thousand or so miscellaneous fixes done over the years that Bethesda themselves overlooked. I mean for example look at the changelogs Arthmoor and the Unofficial Patch Team did.
Some of the work mod authors make are actually better than some of the content Bethesda themselves put out so I don't see why they shouldn't be compensated for it. I mean authors like Chesko and such genuinely make outstanding mods and it's fair they get credited accordingly for their work. The Creation Club program is a legitimate means for Mod Authors to get paid for their work instead of just getting kudos by word of mouth.
